Supporting people at all stages of ageing to lead and participate in activities for the benefit of the community, improves people's physical and mental health and creates a sense of belonging.

Being able to do this in a space like Attitude, that is age-friendly and focused on the needs of people 60+ has provided our town with a chance to discover what a "Living and Ageing Well Hub" might look like.

What LGBTIQA+ people need as we age

Older LGBTIQA+ do not stop being LGBTIQA+ when they age.  My Aged Care is not a closet.  It's time to shift the narrative and ask ourselves, "What are we doing to provide supports to ensure that LGBTIQA+ people get welcoming, inclusive care?"
